A General Election for the City of Archer City will be held on May 12, 2012 to elect a Mayor and two Council members for two-year terms.  Applications to file for a place on the ballot will be received from Saturday, February 4, 2012 until 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012.  Candidate filing packets, including the application, may be obtained in person at City Hall at 118 S. Sycamore from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.  Additional election information is available by calling City Secretary, Kim Whitsitt at 574-4570.
