Spur Hotel

Ruthie’s Place
Ruthie's Place is located approximately a half mile from the square of Archer City. This is a great place to gather with your family or friends. It is fully furnished with linens and cookware. All you need to bring are your clothes. There are plenty of eating areas within the house and out. However, if you want someone else to do the cooking, there are several places in town. Dining

Archer City is home to two fast food restaurants, Dairy Queen and Sonic. Murn's Cafe is our resident small town cafe and is located next door to the Archer Public Library and across from The Spur Hotel. Click here to see the awesome Lunch Bunch review on our very own Murn's Cafe!

Oodles Supermart and Lucky Dollar each feature a deli.  
Fried chicken and plate lunches with the fixin's, are available at Oodles. Lucky Dollar offers pizza, burgers, and submarine sandwiches.  Both locations offer daily specials.   

Burkett Park also features a covered pavillion with picnic tables and a grill, if you'd like to enjoy our mild North Texas weather with a picnic meal.
